living never wore one out so much as the effort not to live -anais nin

The kids and I spent the week-end at a viking encampment. A professor of Art History at Concordia University and some of his students built this viking house. It rained all week-end and so this was the only truly dry and warm place to sleep, as our tents had become somewhat soggy. The price I paid for this is itchy eyes and one that is swollen and in crazy pain. I’m pretty sure it was worth it, though.

I’ll post photos of the tower after I somehow push through the 4 hours of sewing that I have ahead of me.
